09/24/2011 - Two goal performances by Christhian Garces-Lopez and Ryan McNally sparked the Keyano College Huskies men’s soccer team to a 4-1 decision over the visiting The Kings University College Eagles in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference regular season play this afternoon at Corless Field. Yesterday the Huskies had defeated the Eagles 2-0. McNally opened the scoring five minutes into the contest in front of 111 fans with Garces-Lopez making it 2-0 at 16:20 on a penalty kick. The goal of the game came around nine minutes into the second half with a Garces-Lopez from 18 yards out catching the top bar and ricocheting down for the score. Garces-Lopez was named Huskies MVP and Joshua Kiul for the Eagles. Eagles are 0-1-5 in the ACAC. Huskies, 2-2, next games are Oct. 1-2 at Grande Prairie Regional College against the Wolves.
