The men’s volleyball team attended the RDC Challenge cup this past long weekend. They were put into a pool with both Alberta and Manitoba teams. The weekend started off with a 3-0 match won against ACC cougars from Brandon Manitoba. Sets were 25-13,25-8, and 25-19. They followed up that match against the Red Deer Green team which consisted all of their 1st,2nd and 3rd year players. It was a battle till the end of the 5th set, where the huskies prevailed with a 15-13 win.
On Saturday the huskies then played Lakeland College and won in straight sets, 25-13, 27-25, 25-22.

After finishing 1st in their pool they went on to play in the power pool against Red Deer Black where they lost straight sets 14-25, 19-25, 22-25,.
They then went on to play against MacEwan and lost again in four sets 22-25, 21-25,25-23 and 19-25
.for the fifth place match.
