10/22/2011 - Friday night it was Keyano College Huskies first-year forward Nicolle McKenzie’s time to shine, scoring 27 points, three blocks and 11 rebounds in leading the home team to a 57-52 victory over the Concordia Thunder.

Today it was Thunder’s Sasha Warmington’s turn as she totalled 24 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and four steals in a 68-51 win at the . CNRL gymnasium inside the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre.

McKenzie was held to 14 points with teammate Vanessa Wideman scoring 18 points and adding seven steals.

Thunder held at 41-28 halftime lead.

Huskies next games are Oct. 28-29 against the host NAIT Ooks
