The Huskies women’s team were also looking to face a strong Concordia side, and were up to the task. Saturday the girls held the Thunder to 0 0 and half. The second half saw the Thunder puch even harder, and we able to capitalize on their efforts 3 times in the second half for a final result of 3 0, Concordia. Sunday saw the girl wearinf pink jerseys in support of the CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE, and were ready to do better than Saturday’s result. Concordia came out hard, and were able to open the scoring early. Keyano responded and almost brought the game back to 2-1 late in the first half. Concordia proved to be the better team on the weekend, with a result of 7-0 on Sunday. Huskies players of the game were Mel Mackay on Saturday, and Ang Panther on Sunday.
