EDMONTON Saturday Feb. 27, 2010: The sixth ranked Keyano College women’s volleyball team fell three straight to the No. 2 ranked Mount Royal College Cougars 25-17, 25-15, 25-16 at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Association’s 2009-2010 provincial championships being held at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton. Samantha Hicks was Player of the Game for the Huskies.  Huskies will play Briercrest Clippers at 1 p.m. today in the double knockout elimination format. Clippers had lost to the host Griffins in their opening match 16-25, 27-29, 25-22, 18-25. Griffins are the silver medal winners from 2008-2009. Game details will be published when available.The winner of the tournament will earn a berth in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association championship, which will be held in Gatineau, Que., from March 12-14.
