10/20/2011 - Keyano Huskies women’s volleyball head coach Sean Seywright always looks to the positive. “Every season is a new chance for every team no matter how they finished the previous season to take a step forward towards a possible provincial or national title,” said the second-year coach as his team enters the 2011-2012 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference regular season tomorrow night Friday Oct 21 with a 8 p.m. tip-off against the host Grant MacEwan Griffins in Edmonton. The Huskies have a balanced team which includes high-flyer Kathleen Sharun back after being sidelined last season with a knee injury. Seywright is also confident with the improved play of second-year hitter Taylor Braun “small player with a lot of muscle, strength and heart.” He rattles off the names and talents of Sara Bizovie, Tena Brass, Kelsey Bergey etc cetera….excited to start another season in the ACAC. “I think we have a little more depth this year and are more competitive….pushing ourselves in practice which is making everyone better.”
