Sean Seywright – Women’s Volleyball Coach

Seywirght has recently completed five seasons leading and directing the women’s Blazers Volleyball Club in his home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba. No stranger to intercollegiate athletes, Seywright has also helped over 25 athletes in that time frame go on to full scholarships at the Canadian College and University level as well as NCAA Division I and II.

Previously before the BVC, Seywright coached in the very acclaimed club Big Sand for six years and put in two summers as the head coach for Team Manitoba. Together his coaching time and work has given him 15 years experience.

On moving out west in 2010 and the Keyano women’s team, Seywright had this to say  “The chance to become part of (Huskies Volleyball) and be part of such an up-and-coming program was too good to pass up. I am hoping that in the near future we can build on the depth of the team and meet last year’s mark and push to a top five.”

Other notable accomplishments include:

• 3 School Division 1 Titles in 4 Years (Manitoba)
• 2 Years Head Coach Team Manitoba
• 4 Provincial Championships and 6 more Top 3’s (Manitoba)
• 2 National Championship Podium’s and 2 more Top 5’s (Canada)
