Anderson King named 22nd CCAA Academic All-Canadian in athletics program history
Huskies Men’s Volleyball alumni Anderson King has been named the 22nd recipient of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association’s (CCAA) Academic All-Canadian Award in athletics program history.
The award recognizes student-athletes who achieve an honours standing in academics combined with an elite athletic achievement.
In addition to his stellar performance in the classroom, King was recognized with an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) All-Conference selection and was named to the 2025 ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championship Tournament All-Star team in Lloydminster, Sask. this past February.
During his ACAC career, the Edson, Alta. product recorded 455 digs, placing him among the program's all-time leaders in the statistical category. Overall, he appeared in 77 ACAC regular season games during his post-secondary career, playing in 252 sets along the way. During his time with the Huskies, they earned an ACAC Silver Medal and a pair of ACAC Bronze Medals.
